Hello- I am new to this website and trying to figure it out. Are most people on here actually seen by Dr. Brizman? I have had IC/Vulvodynia and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction for many years. I have been treated with various medications, supplements, acupucture, physical therapy, medication, etc, but it has never completely gone away. If you are not being seen by Dr. Brizman, how do you know which herbs to take, monitor your diet, etc? I am not completely clear on how that works. Also, wanted to know if anyone has tried the BomaSenese lubrication? I have had many problems with sex, especially with Vulvodynia and looking for anything that may work.

Hi,  I am new to treatment with Dr. Brizman:D  In my opinion, most people on this site are in treatment with Dr. Brizman.  A few people, post and ask questions from time to time.  I am using olive oil for lubrication although I have heard great things about the BoMaSense lubrication.  Some people on this site quickly move through the program and their symptoms are reduced rather fast.  Feel free to post your questions on-line.  I would also consider calling BoMa Med and aksing your questions to one of Matia's office staff.  They are very helpful and information.

Most of us are at different stages of restoring our health from IC and we are all eithe in treatment with Dr. Brizman or here to learn about treatment to begin. Some ask questions before starting and we are all willing to answer them. You might check the site icaroadtorecovery and look at the interview with Matia there it explains a lot.As far as lubercation goes I am not far along enough in my treatment. I know some people use jojoba oil some oilve oil and some use the one she sells on her site.
I had tried numerous herbs and other herblists before Matia and nothing worked like Matia she really knows IC. You might get her book if you can it is a good read. Because the program is designed to be unique to each patient we can't tell you about the herbs because yours will be different from ours. It is a gradual process with little improvements along the way.
