hi ladies.

not sure if you know about kale chips--the recipe is on the site.  holy moly.  like potato chips--fulfills the same craving, but without all potatoish carbness!  in my oven i found i needed to cook them for longer--more like 8 minutes.

So why isn't Kale on list one? Does anyone know? And if it doesn't bother you, does that mean you can have it on list one ( as long as it is a healthy veggie, not talking everything, like sugar and stuff, and carrots with sugar )

A lot of veges, including Kale can be too strong for beginners, its so hard to tell whats flaring you at first as well. SO, I think she likes to keep you on the basics that have in the past had the best history of not flaring people until you are stable and have a good grip on the diet and flares.  That way when you add one thing in from list 2 you will know if its flaring you or not.  I cant do kale yet, and I was moved to list 2, but that is one big flare causer for me..I think its all the vitamins.  the higher the vitamin count, it seems the bigger I flare..You can ask her though at your appointment and if you are SURE it does not effect you then she may ok it.
