Recently became a member of a social site called Pinterest. It's where people pin images of food, clothing, photography, art, house and decoration, crafts and all kinds of amazing stuff on their own boards. You can repin these images to your board and create a sort of collage of things to inspire you. It's easy and a lot of fun! I've been getting a lot of cool ideas for food, decoration and style from this site. Obviously some receipe's call for modifications, but did you know you can make a pizza crust with just cauliflower? http://pinterest.com/pin/116530709078322998/
Being so strict with my diet, it's easy to forget cooking requires a bit of creativity.
Here is another site i came across: greenkitchenstories.com. Here is one idea from their site: http://www.greenkitchenstories.com/flour-free-banana-blueberry-pancakes/
Hope you can find some inspiring ideas.
I tried this!!! It tasted
I tried this, the pizza crust!!! It tasted good but it totally stuck to the tin foil.... like I mean TOTALLY, we had to eat it off with a fork.
Hi Christine, :) glad to hear
Hi Christine, :) glad to hear it tasted good at least. I love pizza so i was very excited to see this alternative where the crust is a veggie, so i wouldn't feel guilty indulging in carbs. I am fairly new to cooking, haven't tried this yet but regardless will give it a try. Hope mine will taste good as well.
Thank you selichan for
Thank you selichan for sharing these sites! I just tried the almond flour blueberry muffins from the green kitchen site, and turned out pretty well, probably not as well as they are intended to stay together with all the other ingredients that aren't safe, but still tasty none the least!
I have missed muffins since going grainless, and potato flour is awful to bake with from my personal experience. I just got to add in blueberries a couple weeks ago, and burning now after eating the muffins, so will trial again, but could also be the almond flour! Hmm, oh well got to love all the trial and error! Always so good to try new things until the pain hits!:P
Thank you, Selichan

Christine, I made this pizza tonight. This pizza came out beautifully off the parchment. My husband really loved it. I call it Backward Pizza because you start with the cheese, which becomes your crust. I really miss pizza, so this was a nice List 3 addition.
Backward Pizza
2 c. grated mozarella
2 eggs
1/8 c. almond flour
1/8 c. flour (I used Amaranth)
1/2 t. baking powder
Mix all together and spread in a circle 1/4" thick onto parchment lined pizza pan. Cook for 18 minutes in a 350 oven until lightly browned.
Top with sauce (I used pesto), meat, and/or cooked veggies. Sprinkle with basil. Pop back in the oven for 5 minutes more.
Cprince, so sorry you experienced burning from eating those blueberry muffins. I hope you can figure out what caused it. I made some really delicious blueberry muffins today, but they did have almond flour in them.
