Hi everyone,
I got a 3rd degree burn two weeks ago and the blister finally opened up a few days ago which has now infected. DR. B and I have been working on treating it before the infection with raw egg, but now its infected with inflammation and throbbing. My question is, has anyone used her salve to treat burns at this degree? I was just about to go to urgent care but I’m afraid they will give me an antibiotic. How long does it take for t he salve to kick in? I wont get it until tomorrow.
Please advise!

"Combudoron" but think I remember it's not to be used on open wounds?
2nd thought is: I have a consistent open sore in nostril..nothing worked until I applied "Lanolith", a teatment for breastfeeding nipples (actually it is pure lanolin). It has worked! probably because it coats the area and allows healing...a stretch, but you never know. I would definitely ask Matia first if considering

Thank you for the suggestion Well I've had to resort to using a mixture of things under Dr Bs care and an emergency call to her today. Salve mixed with the antibiotic, goldenseal and a layer of sovereign silver. Today is day 1 of the topical antibiotic and it's definitely burning my vagina (it's tolerable right now but I'm drinking a ton of water) causing my forehead to get hot and now a white vaginal discharge. I've been an emotional mess. I fear it will get worse but I need to remain positive. It's been hard for me to be positive! I haven't cried in so long. The red circle around the burn is deep red. Some swelling decrease. I hope this heals quickly. Dr B is helping me through this. I wish I could post a pic of the burn. But I guess not allowed to attach?

Sounds painful! I had a cut that became infected and Dr. B had me use the combo you are using- Goldenseal and soverign silver gel. Worked wonders for me!! I've also used this combo on my kids cuts and they have gotten better very quickly. Hope it heals fast!
