Alright, I am in the market for creative dietary minds- which we are!

I have been gluten free for a number of years and am now kicking rice out as well. For those of you who do to eat rice or wheat, which grains do you use and is there a decent bread you know of? I could theoretically make my own but would much rather buy one already made;)

Thanks, Katie

Katie why are you cutting out rice? Did dr. B recommend it?

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.

Hey Mimi, No, Dr M did not recommend it but I have recently tested my heavy metals and my arsenic level is high and I cannot for the life of me figure out where it came from. I have read there are elevated levels in rice and while I am trying to get rid of the arsenic, I am going to cut our rice because I have read rice has elevated levels.

Hey Deir, I debated if I should mention it online, but we are a community who supports and shares information with one another in this crazy struggle- if that is what we do, how could I not share what is next for me?
i hope you are still enjoying some good days;)

Hi Katie! There was a great article about different rice products and arsenic levels by consumer report that I posted to one of Dr. M's blog posts. I really like teff flour and pretty easy to bake with. Maybe worth a try for you. Unfortunately, I don't know of any safe non rice gluten free breads that are already premade.
