Vagina Stinging from Jojoba Oil

Boy!! Have I had alot of issues these last 3 weeks since my eye operation six weeks ago.  Matia said I was doing so well before that.

My latest problem is that I just applied some Jojoba Oil on my vagina, which is suppose to be soothing also for the bladder.  Well, it had the opposite effect.  It has been 3 hours and my vagina still stings.  I haven't had any vaginal or pelvic issues before.

Has anyone had that experience? What can I do to get rid of the stinging?  It stings like H....L.

Liz - Sorry to hear you're in pain.  Just b/c something is neutral or even soothing to most never means it will be to all.  Our bodies are all different, all react differently, and I've heard before where something taken internally/externally that's great for 99 causes an issue in 1.  I would suggest cold - ice packs - to counter the stinging?

I recall Matia saying not to use the cold ice in the meeting. I can't recall why I am going to have to ask her again. Maybe a warm rice bag will relax it. Put some hot steam wash cloth on it. Wet heat is always best.

Ice packs sound 'ouch' to me, if the hot wash cloth doesn't work, how about applying plain yoghurt after rinsing off the jojoba oil? Just a thought. Let us know what helps.

I am feeling much better after 2 days. The Jojoba Oil really irritated my whole pelvic area.  Funny the area did not red or looked irritated.  .  My nerves just had a bad reaction.  Lisa you are right, every body is different.  Hot or cold did not work.  It just went away on its own.  Thank, everyone.Liz
