Has anyone else experienced problems with adding in vitamin d? I seem to be going through a bit of a flare with bladder burning. I went through the same with the fish oil which I am finally now able to tolerate. Feeling a little frustrated by this.
Vitamin D
I can't quite figure out if the vitamin D is helping me or not. It seemed to help my bladder a lot when I was taking it with the oil of oregano, but it does not seem to help when I take it with some of the other sinus herbs. I have had some low blood sugar issues while taking it too. I have been taking it for about a month. How long have you been taking it?
clueless
I have been taking it for about three weeks. I started with just a couple of drops for the first few weeks and then last week started to take the whole gel cap 1000IU. My frequency seems to have increased since taking the whole gel cap. This was what it was like for the fish oil from the beginning but now I tolerate that. So confusing.
Vitamin D
Interesting - I am taking 400 IU three times per day. At one point Matia had me take 2 pills at once, and that I did seem to flare on. I started out like you did with just a couple of drops. It is confusing.
Clueless
I think that I will just let my body sttle down and then will take a few drops at a time for a long while to get used to it. Are you taking oil form in gel cap or a tablet and what brand? I couldn't find the Carlson's which was suggested.
Vitamin D
I am taking the Carlson's gel cap 400 IU. My bladder seems to do better on just 1 cap at a time AND it looks like it depends on what it is paired with as to how I am tolerating it (at least at this point). I'm just not sure yet. My symptoms are so unstable during the course of a day that it is always hard to tell with me. I got my Carlson's from I-Herb. com. I have found I-Herb to be a good and reliable source. When I first started looking for the Carlson's, I found the larger doses of that brand at the Vitamin Shoppe here where I live. To get the smaller dose I had to order it from the I-Herb. What brand are you taking? Is it a powder?
Clueless.
I am taking a gel cap. The brand is Naturally Preferred. I will look at ordering on line. Thanks for the info and feedback.
kristie
Hi Kristie,I started taking vitamin D drops about 6 weeks ago. When I first started out on them I experienced a definite increase in bladder burning and frequency. Matia told me almost everyone has an adjustment period with the vitamin D. I had been putting the drops directly in my mouth and she suggested putting them on my food to help me tolerate them better. I am still on a low dose and my body has adjusted to the point where they don't cause burning any more. I have noticed an improvement in my energy level. I got my vit D online though Amazon. Hope this helps.Carol
Carole
Thank you Carole for your response. I am glad to hear that you are able to tolerat a little and do see improvements. I will try again in the near future a small amount once I am feeling better in terms of the burning and frequency.
Vitamin D
You are welcome Kriste
Vitamin D who else?
Who else is on Vit D and what have you experienced on it? Matia has just asked me to start this. I wonder what the benifits are. I hear the frequency but i wonder there must be other things because my main issue is burning and constipation. Also I am very fatigued.
boosting immune system
Hi Nicole - I started vitamin D in January because I was having a lot of headaches and also to try to help push my body to the next level. Matia says it should help my immune system, improve my energy and my physical strength. I went through some cleansing for the first couple of months I was on it and I would say that I feel like it did help push me to another level. I recently bumped up my dosage and did not notice any bad side effects other than additional cleansing - the dreaded breakouts mostly. I hope that it helps you. Carol
My head seems to be wors on
My head seems to be wors on it and i started to have some discarge. Hard to say whats going on more stress in my life. My cat is very sick and may need to be put to sleep tomorrow. I think I am going to tell Matia I rather start with a low dose for now till I know what is going on. I hope it does push me to that next level. Thank you Kristy.
new to vitamin d
just started on vitamin d last night (added it to my probiotics) and wondering how everyone is fairing on it. about how long did it take most people to feel any improvement? the question of how long to wait after each change before you can know something is or is not working is something i continue to struggle with. if you still feel crappy after like 5 days, do you email matia? or, have some of you felt the same/worse for longer than a week on a particular regimen and then had it kick in and make you feel better? so confusing.
I LOVE VIT D it took me a few
I LOVE VIT D it took me a few weeks to see the benifits of it but it helps my energy a tiny bit and it helps my anxiety a lot. When she took it out I felt more slugish and over all my symptoms were all lessened . Now I reacted kinda weird to the D when she first gave it to me. I couldn't move the top part of my body esp my arms totally paralized for a day and then the next day felt like someone punched them. The third day as Matia promised it was all gone so strange. Any time she takes me off I am totally bumbed now because i feel a drop in my energy stright away.
