I am very disappointed! I
I am very disappointed! I went to London Drugs today to pick up water and discovered they are carrying only"reverse osmosis" type from Arrowhwead..drats! sorry for the bum steer.Are there any British Columbia Canada ICers besides Kriste and me here?

I have given up on trying to find an appropriate water here. I am on my way to Bellingham tomorrow to stock up on Arrowhead. It would be nice if someone else in Canada could make some suggestions on water.

Do you know if all Arrowhead water is similar in ph and chlorine? I live in Texas and Arowhead is the easiest to find. I hope you find a good source of water in Canada soon.

Hi Sharon..I don't know ph and chlorine, but the Arrowhead SPRING is recommended on the water list by Dr Matia, so tried it and it sure works well for me.

Kriste.many questions I hope you don't mind: .how much do you buy at one time? how often do you go to Bellingham? Where do you buy (i was buying at Rite-Aid, but they only carried 3 large at one time..they will order ahead though)..

Lolo I buy as much as I can at a time so that I don't have to go to often. When I went yesterday I bought 26 3 litre bottles so should last about 6 weeks. I have to go to various stores. I first go to Wal-Mart then Target and then I went to K mArt. Walmart is the cheapest at $1.00. I also stock up on organic butter at Costco as it is much cheaper. I also buy the chicken at Costco as it is cheaper and states that it is hormone and antibiotic free.

Thanks Kriste..very helpful and good tips re butter and chicken.I have been researching most of the day and Arrowhead is not too hopeful about continuing in BC (too costly to ship to retailers).Whistler Water calls itself Spring and is rated well, but is really Artesian (Canada water laws call this spring); Ice River is the largest and respected Spring Water source in Canada (Ontario, Revelstoke and Cranbrook sources...springs and artesian) but bottles their water for some of Costco's Real Canadian and Safeway's Refreshe and Shoppers Drugs LifeBrand and for Walmart Ice....? Most of these come in smaller bottles up to 4 litres. I guess I'll be experimenting until I can get to Bellingham again..I'll let you know results...what a complicated trip this water is..I found a lot of sellers and suppliers had no idea of Spring vs any other, but I did find that any water other than Spring is tap water that is treated to purify or reverse osmosis

Thank you for all your hard work Lolo. I suppose I should try looking again as well. Every time it is time for a trip to the U.S for water my husband says there must be a source here. People just don't get how sensitive we are to a simple thing like water. Do keep me updated. I guess I am lucky that I am so close to the border. It is almost as fast to get to Bellingham as it is to get to downtown Vancouver.

Hi Kriste: I know you're going through a rough patch. I'm hoping for you to feel better.My husband and I have been on a complicated search for a water here and have settled on one. There's a lot f research done on many and we have talked with several people who seem to be very educated on the subject.By exploring the source of the spring , the inspections, the handling and the types of bottles, I have settled on Polaris..fresh from a glacial spring in Pemberton (near Whistler). It's TDS (total dissolved solids..ie minerals) is consistent in the 42 range (not too high) and the company and people are very aware. It seems there are a lot of consumers checking water out and a lot of sensitive people coming to the forefront. This one comes in quite a few sizes, but I like the 9.5 litre and the 4 litre. It's available in several grocery store on the island. Another good one is Whistler water from a source nearby and similiar characteristics. I have been dring Polaris now for 4 day and al ok so far...take care of yourself

Thank you lolo for all your hard work and keeping me updated. I really really appreciate it. I will definately try the Polaris and I am glad that you are not having any problems with the water. I know that i will get through this little set back. My night time frequency just seems to keep being my major problem right now. If I could just get past that and get some good sleep the rest would be manageable. I have had lots of improvement but this has been my major stumbling block. Matia is so great I am sure we wil find the right combination of herbs.
