Hey All,

I am kind of bored with my breakfast ideas, and have run through the recipe section. Anyone have any list 1 and 2 suggestions that have worked for you that you would be willing to share??

Love and light.

Sorry Julie- I am so boring with this! I love my simple breakfast of eggs, toast and some vegetable like broccoli and coffee. I eat the same thing every day except for the horrific days when I realize I am out of eggs!! LOL

Deir, we can have TOAST?? What toast can we have? I thought we couldn't have any bread...if I could have toast I would be over the moon. Please do tell me about protocol-friendly toast. :)

List 1 does say that you can have bread, it just has to be both yeast and sugar free, which is near-impossible to locate in any health food stores. Your best bet would be to buy it online, or make it yourself. Here is a recipe for spelt bread that I have found and am actually baking right now as I type this message. Not sure how it tastes yet, but it does satisfy all the constraits :)

I just have a spinach omlete every morning and I have either a rice cake. I have just ordered some spelt bread online that someone posted a site for and will try that also.

I'm boring can't tolerate much so have some ground bison patty seasoned with salt and spoonful of almond butter! Breakfast of champions. I know you can't have almond butter yet, but I can't quite stomach veggies in the morning. But you could make own sausage patty is what I am trying to get at use whatever seasoning you can tolerate to your meat of choice fry up and enjoy!

I don't want to double post, so you can check my other post under 'recipe i live by' for the broccoli, meatza, and hash brown recipes.  M-F, i always eat 10oz of either mashed broccoli or mashed cauliflower, combined with 4 oz of protein, all re-heated in a skillet. Protein is always either left over roast, left over shredded chicken, or left over meatza if i only used onions as a topping. Sometimes a decaf coffee with a tablespoon of whipping cream (which is basically unwhipped butter).  eating that i literally do not hungry again until like 3-4pm. It's bizarre.  On weekends, i splurge with eggs, 5oz of mashed broccoli with cheese added, hash browns, and either a little grapefruit or blueberries. I think it's good to keep something special for weekends to avoid getting completely sick of the options:).

If you can have potatoes, when i have time on the weekends, I sometimes make a potatoe omelette, which used to be my childhood favorite. I just cut up potatoes in 1 inch squares, then either fry or oven bake them till crisp. Than in a pan add a good amount of butter, add the pototoes and break eggs over. Salt and pepper...I used to add curry powder to this before IC and made it smell amazing...but not sure when curry will be ok to consume again.
