Tonight, I have been reading the posts on Salmon. I had a great day until I ate Salmon for dinner. It turned out to be from China (probably farm raised). then I read another post about Salmon from Alaska having Copper. Have any of you found a brand of Salmon that does not cause problems? I would especially like to hear from people that may have had trouble with one kind of Salmon and did fine with another.
Also, what type of fish do you eat regularly?
salmon
I eat it every week, but sometimes I do get a flare from it. I always get wild caught, but at times have gotten in from different stores. Tonight I had Alaskan salmon from Chili?? I think that was where it was from, and it was great with my bladder. At other times I have gotten in from the US and it was not good on the bladder..Its hard to tell, because there are so many different kinds. I would like to hear others posts on this subject too, because salmon is the only fish I am eating.
I just realized I wrote
the wrong thing! Very tired last night when I posted. What I meant to say, is I had wild caught shrimp from Chili, and US caught Alaskan salmon. Both of them were good, but I have had some salmon that did not taste very good and bothers my bladder from Dominicks and I do not remember where it was caught.
Salmon
Salmon seems to bother my bladder a lot of times. I eat it sometimes but not very often. If you buy farm raised, it has color added. I try to buy the wild caught. Nevertheless, it seems to bother me no matter what the source.
I seem to have trouble with
I seem to have trouble with fish in general and the white ones exluding talapia are the most friendly.
Salmon
Salmon has been bothering my intestines lately.
fish issues
I used to eat tons of fish, especially tuna, whitefish, salmon. The last couple times I had it, everything including bladder got worse. I actually get bad neurological symptoms with it. I think I'm going to stay away from it for a while...
