traveling and water

I have been traveling a bit lately and finding it very difficult especially when in an airport to find suitable drinking water. I know Matia has many patients who do travel for work and what not and I wondered if they could offer any advice as to what they do in airport situations. I have found that the only available water most of the time is 'Dasani' which is purified and gross and not good for us to drink.
Also wondering if we could start a list( since we are from all over the place) as to what drinking water is ok for what part of the country. For example us New Yorkers drink Poland Spring. I think this would be helpful for those of us who travel! Also, those in other countries...it's hard know what water is in fact ok for us to drink. Thanks!

The last time I flew I put a bottle in my check in bag in a zip block bag. I was with other people so you are aloud 3 oz of liquid on your person when you go through check in.  I get 3oz bottles at the store and fill them with my water a head of time. Last time I had 4 people traveling with me so they each had my water. When i got on the plane I just collected there water. I know that you can get a dr's note a head of time and report before your flight that you need this for medical purposes. You must check in with the documents and such. I don't recall all the details but if you call the airline they might be able to help you. I don't know if you have a dr that would just write you a script for it.If you do not have anyone traveling and you don't have a script from a dr you can just do the 3 oz and save it for when you get past the check point. I use my own t ill i get there then they take it from me. It really is best if you have someone with you so they can carry a bottle with you.that is about all the ideas i have.

Hi Lexy,In Chicago, Ice Mountain is the primary spring water you can find at all the grocery stores. So far, it's been working fine for me - don't know if others have had the same experience. Occasionally, i can also find Poland Spring at Whole Foods, but in terms of home delivery (if you have a water cooler dispenser at home), Ice Mountain is the only one that will deliver.
