I have been getting that on and off for about a year now.  It is a pressure feeling For me its kinda like I am on an airplane and need to pop my ear....but it wont pop.  I do not know why it happens, but I will put it on my list to ask Matia about next week.

I have this same fluid/pressure in my ears too. Funny thing is I fly for a living and never get it then, I only get it when I exercise, bounce or move a lot. Sometimes just a fast walk does it. Matia says it's the lymph having trouble draining. It's so annoying and makes it hard to talk or hear as one ear feels totally blocked. I want to pop it like one would on an airplane and nothing happens. She says it will clear up, like most odd symptoms, once I progress through treatment.

I have problems in my left ear, not pain really... just like pressure or like water is eternally stuck in there. Also, when I hear a repeated loud sound, my hearing in the left ear becomes distorted. The weirdest thing is that I got my hearing tested and blew away the doc, who said that my hearing was better than normal. Hey, I don't get it!!

I had the same thing last week. I thought it was from the flight to LA and back. However, it also felt like I had a fever and sore throat. Matia says this is very normal and is due to the body throwing off toxins, bacterias etc. I jumped on teh mini trampoline for 2 min, used a hot pack during the day, Salonpas pad on my neck right under my ear at night. The next morning the inflammation was down by more than half and the day after the pain was totally gone and most of the pressure. I still feel a little bit of pressure but not much. BTW, I talked to Matia about the mini trampoline and she said not to use it in the early stages of treatment..it is a powerful lymph mover and too much on the body at this point. I will probably use it only if I need to, if I have the ear pain again.

Oh yeah I have talked to her about the trampoline too. My ear is still bothering me and it started with my dental visits. I still have the infetion even though they did take out my tooth. I am sure it will take a few more weeks to go away.

I have been having insanity with my ear for about 7 months!  Its bizarre.  Has anyone else experienced this feel like there's fluid, but it won't drain?

Around the same time my IC started, I started developing excessive ear wax. Since I got diagnosed I have had to go to the emegency walk-in clinic or doctor's office on average once to twice a year to have my ear wax removed. What happens is the wax gets lodged in my ear, so I can't hear at all, and get weird pain and pressure somtimes also, and when this happens it makes me dizzy as well, affects my equilibrium and for some reason triggers my asthma. Its totally bizzare. Once the doctor flushes my ears and removes the wax, I have almost total relief.
I've always wondered if there was something else I could do about this like ear coning?
Does anyone know if Matia is OK with that?

I have this all the time at the moment, I used to get it a lot before my IC symptoms ever started.  Used to think I had a lot of wax but the doctor said no.
I'm assuming what I have now is all part of the cleansing process.
