Quick/Random Question - Do any of you eat seaweed as a source of Iodine?  Have any of your talked to Dr. Brizman about it?  I'm list 3 plus a bit of list 4 and just still feel doubtful that I'm getting enough Iodine (had thyroid nodule, etc).  I'd like to ask her but my next appointment isn't for another 3+ weeks - just thought I would check with you all :)

Thanks!

I am about where you are in the food lists and she told me it was OK to try it in a small amount but that it might affect me because it has so much vitamins/nutrients.

What does she say about iodized salt in tiny amounts? I have been thinking a lot about vitamin deficiencies in terms of our imbalance. I think we have to ask why we are deficient in B vitamins, vitamin D (a hormone really), iodine etc... The thing is, there are many people that are not iodine deficient and do not eat seaweed. I wonder if during our rebalancing we took in more iodine it would be utilized? Maybe? I don't know. There is a reason your body is not absorbing and utilizing the iodine it is exposed to. I think as you get more balanced this will be less of an issue. What does she say about your thyroid and iodine? It is all connected to your imbalance. Sorry if that is not really answering your question!

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.

Thank you guys for your insight! I think you are right - just may be a bandaid - dr Brizman thought I could get some iodine from pink salt but I just need to talk to her more at length about it - thanks!
