Hello everyone, been some time since I've written. Long story short I have been trying to find a salt water pool to take my 8 month old swimming in since she LOVES the water, unfortunetly this is harder than I thought. In any case I did take her to my friends chlorinated pool and a day or so after my symptoms of urgency, burning and vaginal irriation became so much worse I just knew I had an infection. I went to my doctor, the urine test for uti came back negative but after she did a vaginal swab she said that I have bacterial vaginosis. I am wondering if the pool can cause that or if it was something else. I spoke to Boaz today and he has me taking formula 49, goa mao ling, oil of orgeno, zhang mao ling and ear formula for this. Am wondering if anyone has been in a similair situation? I am just so tired of being in pain and now having this infection its been the week from hell. This disease is keeping me from doing what I need to do mainly caring for my daughter :(

You might ask about douching with golden seal. I had my yearly pap and they couldn't read it - due to inflmation from a vaginal infection. Matia had me douche with golden seal for several weeks, retest, and all was good - just a suggestion.

ha funny you mention that, originally Boaz told me to do that but then he changed his mind and said not to, I wonder why. Oh well I am breastfeeding so maybe that is why.
I would think the chlorine
I would think the chlorine caused it. I hope you feel better soon. I never go near Chlorine and actually if it makes you feel better, nobody really hshuld. Your daughter will be ok if she doesn't get a lot of chances to swim. Hang in there.
