No matter your thoughts on vaccines-read this very very long article. It is extremely interesting and I think very relevant to those having chronic illness as many having chronic illness also struggle with infections in pregnancy. This may influence your choice of healthcare with your baby and could make a huge difference in his or her health!

I was having a conversation with someone today that is newly pregnant and thought I should post. Low progesterone can be a big problem with IC and, as many of you know, we don't advocate it's use or the use of hormones in general except in certain very specific situations.

In 2006 I self published my doctoral thesis on IC and chronic illness. In that dissertation i explain my model for the developement of IC and other chronic illnesses-the foundation of which being low grade microbial translocation via the Peyer's Patches into the messentary ultimately infiltrating the entire lymphatic system. Incredibly today an article has reached my email from a patient-I am unclear as to where it was found on FB but she reports that this is where it was found.

The year is coming to a close and as I like to do each year end, I have been reflecting on the changes that have come in these last twelve months. I think the most exciting always every year are the new births-the miracles in life that I think keep us all going and are even more inspiring when they come through a person having struggled with health and conquered that obstacle. Perhaps even more special is that we are often honored to become a part of those baby's healthcare-we may then be able to influence the next generation in a positive way.

We use raw milk as a part of our nutritional protocols. Many believe that raw milk is bad because it is dairy. What we always say is that it is not the dairy, but the non-raw dairy that is the problem. I like the following article as it points to this issue a a couple of others which we also agree are important to health and to healing:

The Emotionality Of Un-wellness....
Do you ever wonder why you have a “theme” to your emotions? Do you wonder why the same emotional patterns seem to reappear in your life over and over and don't seem to be within your control? Do people blame you for not being able to control yourself emotionally?
Emotions are often the outward expression of the internal imbalance. Outward signs are often an indication of internal “wrong-goings”. These can be visual as in skin or hair or muscles and joints for example, but very often it is emotion and, no, you are not crazy!
