I am just starting with the protocol after my consult with her, a week back. I have both IBS and IC. But worst is the pelvic discomfort , upon sittinng even for few mins and not able to sit on slightl hard surface
I have to take supplement, probiotics & follow List 1 for 1/3 proteins, 1/3 starch and 1/3 vegetables. I usually consume indian diet but milk, grains etc my system can't tolerate. Can someone help me with few diet, food suggesstions or some recipesand also stores to purchase good stuff ?
1. Source of protein in indian diet are usually not meats so I don't eat beef but lamb etc is ok. So if I have to follow only List 1, what should I take ( which fish, lamb etc) and in what form ( cooked, roasted). Eggs don't suit me due to IBS. Won't Lis 1 create deficiencies as no direct carbs or may be List 2 or 3 will compensate that. How about tortilla, though some are processed with lime extract
Breakfast - Not sure for now
Lunch - Cooked cauliflower/cabbage + Corn tortilla ( Can i take this as they are processed using lime extract). Or rice with boiled peas
Dinner - Rice (Should i take brown rce or white, seeing my IBS)
2. Indian diet involves food & vegetable cooked with spices like cummin, corriander, black pepper, ginger, onions, garlic, tomatoes etc. Which ones should I avoid ?
3. I am really concerned about improving my sitting on regular surfaces. Apart from healing inflammation, is it ok to do PT to strengthen tissues. Or not for now ?.

I really think that you need to ask Dr. Brizman these questions. She can help you sort through all of this. In the mean time, have you checked out - under the integrated approach tab - up in the upper left hand side of this screen - the diet tab? Depending on the list that you're on - you proably need to follow those suggestions and give yourself a break in trying to figure it out - it does work.
