Hi All:
Thank you for writing in and suggesting that I tough on through the bifido and/or the cod. I checked with Dr. B and she said, "yes, it is true. And you would be surprised at how much better you feel for having done so. However, I don't think you are quite there yet."
I really appreciated all the support that fellow IC journeyers sent.
Now I need you guys to write in to tell me to be patient. I did feel better after I stopped the bif and the cod but I am getting really sick of being patient about diet add ons so I have been trying some things from List 3 with mixed results. Last night it was mild spice- dried thyme. That was so so. Today I had a cup of weak chamomile tea because I am sooo tired of only water. (I am at the beginning of month 7) and it really burned. Worse than the last time I had it.
My reaction to this was to get really pissed off and panicky and start questioning again. If this is so slow, how am I ever going to get anywhere?
Good news though is that it went away after 4 hours. But can people write in and tell me how long it took them to get to and then through List 3? Was there a point where things ever started moving faster for you? Dr. B says that the next 6 months will go faster. I hope so. Some days I feel basically asymptomatic and I think "This isn't so bad" but then I remember how restricted my food is.
Sorry to complain on the site. You all really help me so much. All input appreciated.
Bonnie
Months 6 and 7 were the
Months 6 and 7 were the hardest months for me. I had the most die-off at that time. It was a turning point for me though. After that the time was flying by. You will get through it, and you will get to list 3 soon. I know it's tough but something that hurts your bladder today may not hurt you in 4 weeks. You just got to wait it out and you will get there.
Thank you so much, Calieve.
