I just realized that the spelt bread I've been eating the last 2 months

(Rudi's) has yeast in it. The other one that I keep at my Moms (French Meodows) has wheat. What is right & safe & what did I do to the healing process with this mistake?.... No wonder it tastes so much better:)))) ugggggggggg!!!!!

The Rudi's might have sugar too?? I know Matia would not like you to have any yeast or sugar. As far as the wheat goes, if I were you, I would not do it every day.  Maybe only a couple of times a week. I don't eat any bread because I am gluten free and in my area there are no options for me.  At first I missed it but now I just have a rice cake with some butter or olive oil.

Amy, I'm pretty sure spelt is a type of wheat. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spelt
It just happens to be more easily digestable than the common wheat we've come to know as "wheat."
But the French Meadows bread that I eat only lists 3 ingredients: spelt, water, salt -- and it has been approved by Dr. B.

You can special order it from whole foods.

Rudi's brand does (sadly) have yeast which we are meant to avoid, but it's all part of your learning process so I wouldn't get hung up or feel guilty about it. You are doing the best you can.  Just switch over to the kind with no yeast or sugar from here on out.  If you haven't been progressing as much as you wanted, perhaps that mixup is a good reason!
