Help! beginning list 3

I spoke with Matia last night & she said I can slowly begin trying list 3 foods...no fruit yet though:((

Can anyone give me a starting point. What foods to try first...any good recipes or ideas. The diet list on this site is so bare bones, it is so difficult to for beginners to decide what to try or make.

I have the same exact question and will ask Matia when I speak with her soon.

I got permission to move to list 3 many months ago, but I went too fast (and didn't really know where to start) and had to go back on list 2. I'm dying to get back on 3, but will do it SO much more cautiously this time!

I also went too fast on list 3 and 4 and had to go back to list 2 later on, but from what I recall, I started with the veggies first.  For me, though, there weren't a ton of list 3 veggies that really appealed to me, except carrots, and she said not to try those first (for me personally).
Also, be wary---I tried green beans recently (because she said I could try some list 3 vegg), and I had issues with it.  I asked her about it and she said green beans SHOULD be on list 4!!  Go figure. So don't try those first ;-)
When in doubt I would just email her about a specific food and then try it sparingly.

Thank you for both your replies!!!! I would love for more people to give me their experiences. I bought a big spaghetti squash & am going to try it tomorrow... Of course I would like to try the things at the end of the list first:))))  Also milk in recipes ... Can this be cream added. How has anyone incorporated milk into a recipe. Ideas???? It almost feels like when you are allowed new things, when you get there you really don't want to try them anymore. I feel like I'm started to put too many things in my body & if I am still in pain am I hurting myself. I'm soo confused. I am having more good days than 3 months ago but not good enough:(((

Re: the milk question. When I was toward the end of List 2 many months ago, Dr. M actually approved a tiny bit of organic, whole milk with my coffee, which seemed perfectly fine for me. I also started adding milk to my home-made spelt bread and pancakes. However, when I progressed into List 3 and things got out of focus, we just went right back to List 2 and cut milk out (but kept the tomatoes).

Personally, I think I'm fine with milk, but to be on the safe side, I'm just staying away from it until I'm stabilized and we've identified the true source of confusion.

And, yes, I also find the List 3 vegetables to be really unappealing, which is why I'm confused about whether it's okay to skip straight to the nuts and that fun stuff. That's where I went wrong last time!
