Hi everyone, hope you all have been doing well the last couple of weeks. I just came back from a 2 week trip, and to my surprise, bringing my own food and water on the plane was so easy thanks to the letter Lynn prepared. I was able to cook so i had good control of my diet as well, and my bladder held together well during my stay. I was so thankful and happy to come back o LA, ironically when i came back, i got a nasty case of diarrhea and two nights ago, my last pee was incredibly, excruciatingly painful. I had so much burning and saw bleeding as well. It was so bad, i fell a sleep crying and praying. The whole bleeding part freaked me out. I couldnt tell for sure but i think i was bleeding vaginally, only 20th day of cycle, sorry or the gross details. I emailed Matia. She thinks it is an infection In my intestines, now affecting my urinary track. She put me on new protocoal. Today my period started!! I am in so much pain, and freaking out abit as well. Has any of you had similar experience? Is it normal to start my period so early? Thank you.

I have to be really quick, but I just wanted to reply to hopefully calm you down a bit - the herbs can surely affect your menstrual cycle in such a way!! I always had 30 day long menstrual cycle (a year after quitting BC pill), or something around that (never really regular). Some of the herbs (I suspect the RP) made my cycle to be 21 - 23 days only, and I was so surprised and of course a bit worried! Right now, I am on different herbs, and these do other thing - my period is kinda "starting" 2 days or how to name it - brown discharge and period-like cramps for 2 days and then it "really starts" - bleeding, cramps, etc. And my cycle is 30 days long again. Go figure. Anyway, the herbs have HUGE impact on period cycle lenght I found! Do not worry!

A day or so before I see period, there are traces of blood on a tissue, and also a few days after. I learned not to do urine test before/after period because there will be blood, lots of it according to test. It seems it might've been a period. I love those protocols when there is a real or suspected infection. I come out as good as new, always energized and vibrant. You're doing all the right things and I would not worry.

When I first started treatment, I used to have very painful periods, not with painful cramps but with a lot of vaginal and bladder burning.  And my period has not been perfectly regular, sometimes early and sometimes late.  I also started having spotting up to a week before my period, then it was a few days, then the day before.  Now I have minimal to no pain associated with my period and it is regular, every 28- 29 days, and my last one I had virtually no spotting beforehand.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this level of pain.  It is scary, but Matia will help you get through it.  Don't hesitate to email her often during times like this.  She is there for you.  And we are here for you also, sending prayers and hugs.  I can relate to your pain right now.  I'm in a flare, and I haven't had one like this in a while.  It's awful, but I know I'll get through it and start feeling better again.  You will too.  Just take good care of yourself right now and get as much rest as possible.

Aya, the same here. I suspect we're cleansing through period. I feel very good after period, not before or during it though.

Hi Blondy, actually - I have a very opposite pattern! I feel the worst after my period up to ovulation, with post-period migraines and bladder/urethra/vulvodynia worsened and also every single symptom I have, including the flu-like stuff; then I am usually getting somewhat better, have cramps with my period but only one day, then bearable and when my period stops, the hell starts all over again.:) How different we all are!

Girls, thank you all so much for your support. It turned out that the bleeding was my period after all, started a week early!!! and as soon as i started bleeding, my bladder calmed. Lisa Ann I am so sorry you are having a bad flare too, Ireally hope you are feeling better by now! Do you know what caused your flare??? When i came back, i didn't pay much attention to the diarrhea that it would pass, it's almost a week now and i still have it!!! It' sometimes random, like first thing in the morning, and sometimes after a meal. I am wondering if i have some new intolerance, and suspecting yogurt but not really sure. It's fatiguing me a bit, and i try to drink a lot of water and eat regularly not to get too exhausted. Really hoping that the medicine kicks in soon. During my trip i got exposed to so much second hand smoking and car exhaust in the air. The city is so toxic and maybe my body is now reacting trying to get rid of it all. I can't wait to see Matia this week and hear her thoughts. Hope you all have a wonderful week!
