HI, does stress affect anyone's bladder? I was having a perfectly good bladder day and then a family argument got it cranked it up. This is the first time this has happened to me. Blah.

Yes, I definitely experience an increase in pain when I'm under a lot of stress.

YEP! It is almost immediate. 

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.

I think stress is a big flare inducer for me.  There are some older threads on this subject and it seems like a pretty common experience that stress causes IC to act up.

I have really noticed that now that I am feeling somewhat better. I realized I have to watch the things that trigger a stress response. It's happened twice now and I think I can avoid it again as long as I dont react so much. Oh the lessons of all of this!

Oh Lord, absolutely!  When I'm arguing with my family, I'm just thinking "Please don't stress me out me, you're making my bladder hurt!" ...and have said it sometimes.....but I think they  believe I'm just being melodramatic :(
