I am kind of amazed about the show and I also wanted to add that a few months back, Dr B posted a blog about "Life Dreams" I went back and read that today because I responded to that post right BEFORE I got asked to put together the Cabaret. Really kind of cool how that came together like that. At that point , it was an idea that I was trying to make happen at some point in the future- I was hoping for maybe more like a year from then. What happened was, when I put myself out there just through emailing my Theater friends, I was offered the evening to do the show!! Kind of divine.
 
Gives me hope and faith that I am on the right road. Ladies- don't lose hope in the joy of life even when it is hard to find. This illness ain't even close to over for me- but I just keep putting one foot in front of the other. In the meantime, trying to live the best life I can. I could not have done this 2 years ago and really, the show would NOT have been as good if I hadn't gone through all this crap. Several people told me they were moved to tears, that the show brought up a lot of emotional stuff for them. I truly feel that the whole of my experiences, good and bad contributed to that and so, I am grateful.

I read your q&a and you look amaxing and as a performer myself I know how much this must mean ! I can still only dream of being at this point myself- not least because of my horrific weight gain. I haven't worked professionally for 5 years and miss it terribly like a deep ache but I'm so proud of you and pleased for you. What an amazing achievement !
