Last fall, I started having joint pain in my hip (about a year into treatment). It hurt pretty badly for awhile, and I could tell that it was inflammation in my body affecting my hip area (I haven't had a history of hip pain, and I hadn't done anything to injure myself.. it just happened). It was the worst at night when I would lay in bed, as well as when I first woke up in the morning. I had to prop my legs up with pillows to take the weight and pressure off of my hip area. After I would get up and start moving in the morning, it wasn't SO bad, but it was still there. It did hurt to walk for awhile. Dr. B adjusted my supplements, adding in different things to help (cod liver oil... gross! and Vitamin D also helped). It took a few months to really subside, but eventually it did... when I started listening to my body and not pushing myself so hard. I now only get my hip pain when I'm having high stress. I relate that to my body increasing inflammation as a direct result of my stress levels. My best advice for dealing with this kind of pain is to listen to your body!! If you are doing something to exacerbate the pain, don't do it! Listen to your body!

I would add, don't exacerbate
I would add, don't exacerbate your pain with aggressive PT. I made mine so much worse.
