Hormonal flares-a strange pattern...

I have been at zero pain for much of the time. What a miracle.

All of a sudden wham-a flare- that seems out of nowhere. Then I looked back over my e-mails to Boaz. Seems to be a pattern. I seem to flare about 7 days after the beginning of my cycle for a few days. It is a very strange time to flare. Most people flare just before their period.

Anyone have experience with flares in the luteal phase before ovulation?

Anyone's hormonal flares subside after awhile of being on the protocol? Please share about your observations and process.

Love and light,

Julie

Julie, I almost always flare the week after my period finishes (around day 5 or 6). During my period and ovulation my symptoms are usually pretty good. I also felt like the odd one out but Matia said that this time of month is often vulnerable. I've been in treatment 7 months ... can't say it has gotten much better but the intensity has decreased slightly.

Thanks so much for sharing! Good to know there's another follicularly sensitive lady out there.
May we someday pass through day 5-7 free of discomfort. :)
Love and light,
Julie

I actually think that flaring during or a week after your period (before ovulation) is a common thing.  This has always been my pattern.  Even as I've gotten more and more well, this is still the pattern.  I've talked to other fellow patients about this as well, and it seems to be more common than a lot of us think.

I am really not sure when this changed for me - Maybe 3 years in? I have had a long haul!  But I noticed it at first being the ovulation stage/day before period bothering me and then it was a week after period -that became the pattern. Strange! It does I think just gradually edge out and you get more and more balanced in time and the impact just melts away until its not there anymore. So yeah its very common and it does just go away with time.

Hi Ally, Thanks for sharing that information, that was very interesting. Same here, day 5-15 symptoms increase, then during and right after period I feel much better. Slowly my cramps have been decreasing in intensity, i still get a month or two where it's debilitating, and toss and turn in bed with no relief, but other times it's so managable that I  can go on with my day with mild to moderate pain which is a huge improvement.
