I just need to vent. I have been doing better for a couple of weeks- which is making me hopeful but also scared to face the bad days. Afte so long, I am always waiting for the shoe to drop and never feeling confident that I could be turning a real corner. I have had good periods ebfore during these past 2.5 plus years and it always gets worse again. This time feels a little different but even saying that feels like I am jinxing myself even though I say i don't believe in that. I know it is a self protective thing (plus I am getting into the PMS phase)

Thanks- this kept me from whining to my husband who just does not like that LOL  (MUST FIX WIFE MUST FIX PROBLEM) that is what is going through his brain i think

Deir!!!!! It overjoys me to hear you are feeling some good days and that means that you are shifting so whether that lasts two days this month and five days next, the change is occurring and it is REAL!
Today has been challenging for me and It is taking both of us longer to heal that we anticipated when we began roughly at the same time. I think that after however many years it takes us to rebalance we need to think of some great reward at the end..... A cruise with a tremendous amount of sunshine is what I am thinking....lol. This winter has me batty!
I completely understand the anxiety of the tougher days coming back, but try to hold on to that means some days are good;)
Sending Healing, Katie

Ha ha - I love the bit about fixing the wife! I think it's two steps forward, one and three-quarter steps back!  Eventually the two steps will outweigh the ones back and you'll have longer and longer between flares, which will become milder and milder. The tough thing about all of this is that we are used to downing a pill and getting better and going back to our busy lives. I find this the hardest thing of all. It's slow!  I know what you mean about confidence - this setback has really shaken mine. But you know something important now - you CAN feel better!!! X

Thanks Ladies- the problem in my case is that I have had these "good periods" all  along and they don't last. it is so challenging to have any faith that this time is "for real" if you know what I mean.  I feel like this has challenged my already challenged faith and trust in general. But I keep going so that has to count for something!

I appreciate what both of you said!!! ((HUG))

Hi Deir! Vent away, I know it is so difficult not tomcplain and whine at home. Stay in this positive place that this is absolutely different this time. Perhaps just having a few more symptoms at the moment because of your period and will all settle again soon! You are making progress, keep on fighting for the life you want and deserve, not the life we can just deal with! Hugs!

Thanks ,my friend. That is so true- I want to be healthy- not just "dealing with it"  Funny- but one of the reasons I feel positive baou tit is that it isn't that great, just overall lessened for 3 weeks (with a few blips) I have had  better days for sure but they seemed to be even shorter lived- if that makes sense!

3 weeks is great, Deir! I so hope and wish it IS "for real" this time - even if some worse days should be approaching very soon. I wish they might last much less than those good 3 weeks, and then, lesser and lesser each time, and the good periods more and more. I understand perfectly the "jinx" fear - it happens to me too, I'm always afraid to be or to sound too optimistic - but I keep my fingers crossed for you!

That was really weird and lasted for about a day and a half. I guess it was a quick die off?

I've been getting a lot of this. Arms feel ancient!  Went on very short bike trip to shop earlier and my arms were shaking when I got back. SO WEEDY!  Bladder holding up??
