I like making up recipes. Having a dessert made by me can be risky business because it is hit or miss. In the old days, I would make things and my dogs would not even eat them!. That is a true story. Knowing this, you may or may not want to follow what's next
Anyway, I just made one that is really really nice as follows:
1 package almond meal
raw cocao powder about half as much as the almond meal
maple syrup to taste
I am terrible with recipes -so eye ball this
the idea is to get to a consistency that you can make round balls or any shape you wish
put them in the freezer and let them harden for a bit and eat. They are super yummy and completely raw and healthy!
I did this same rceipe with oats instead of almond meal and that was also incredible!

That sounds good! I have been getting very creative with my baking with being grain, sugar/fructose and egg free, mine are definitely mostly misses but am bound and determined to make things come out edible! When can we try just raw unsweetened cocoa powder?
I saw this recipe the other day and can't wait to try it some day, but thought I would share for those at this point in treatment. I changed some ingredients from the original recipe.
Almond butter brownies:
Almond butter chocolate brownies
Ingredients
1/2 cup almond butter
1/4 cup agave or maple syrup
1/2 cup all natural unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt, if desired
1/4 cup chocolate chips (or could leave out) and 2 T for topping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray 8×8 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large bowl of electric mixer or food processor, cream together almond butter, maple
syrup, and applesauce until smooth. Add cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; mix again until smooth. Gently fold 1/4 cup of chocolate chips into batter. Pour batter into prepared baking pan and smooth top. I usually spray my spatula with cooking spray to help spread it out evenly. Sprinkle remaining 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips over the top.
Bake for 18-22 minutes or until top is just set. It’s okay if they look a little underdone; we want these to be fudgy! Plus they are vegan so you don’t need to worry about them cooking all the way through. Cool on wire rack as long as you can. Cut into 12 delicious squares!
Some one will have to tell me how these come out. They sound amazing! :)
Thank you cprince, will try

Perfect for my dairy free
Perfect for my dairy free family. Always looking for non-sugar treats to make for my grandson too. I figure the more I can supply the less my daughter will buy sugary treats.

Carole- just saw a recipe for fruit "gummy" treats using gelatin. I bought some high grade gelatin made from grass fed beef. I just made them and they are cooling in the fridge, I will let you know how they work.
