Okay I apologize for all the post but for some reason it shows up that I posted but am not able to read the post after I write it so I attempting one more, hopefully this one works. In any case I am not doing so good, its been 3 months since the birth of my daughter and I am no better than when I was pregnant. I have horrible urinary urgency and all the good I do in regards to this treatment if anything I am feeling worse. I have no die off symptoms, simply my bladder is a wreck 24/7. Dealing with this illness and having a newborn has been beyond difficult, I just want to enjoy motherhood but instead am dealing with my stupid bladder. My fiancé and I are staying in the downstairs of my folks house till we can save up enough to move out which wont be anytime soon. Awhile ago when some guys were doing some work for my Dad they found mold. I have no idea what kind but my dad said we don't have enough money to have someone come look into it or get rid of it. obviously this may be a huge problem and wonder why if this is why im not feeling better but there is nothing I can do about it right now. Sorry for the negative post but I just don't know where to go from here. I often wonder if I don't even have IC but something else. I don't understand why eating right wont even help in the slightest.
Environmental factors can
Environmental factors can play a huge role in not feeling well. Doesn't mean you don't have IC, just may be that it is being exacerbated by external factors. I know it is hard to be stuck. Have you asked Dr. B if this could be a factor and if there is anything on the cheaper side to at least minimize or treat some of the mold to see if it might help? Hope there is something that can be done to help!
I have talked to Boaz about
I have talked to Boaz about this and he is very concerned and thinks that may be why I haven't been feeling good at all, he says that I need to basically get out of the house but that just isn't an option right now. I'll try to do some research to see if there is anyway to take care of the mold without paying a ton of money.
he suggested an air purifier
he suggested an air purifier for me while our bathroom was having work done. i wonder if that would help you any. you could ask him about it.
Hi Heather, Congratulations
Hi Heather, Congratulations on your adorable little one! She is absolutely beautiful! Remember, also, that pregnancy is not just nine months ( 10 months, but that is another discussion;). Your hormones are in flux just prior to conception, throughout the pregnancy and a few months past breast feeding. For me, hormonal variability surrounding childbirth was 2+ years. You will see pain- free days. Be vigilant about your diet, listen to Matia, try to sleep and it will come together in time. ;) For all of us!
Katie
Thanks Katie:) I know
Thanks Katie:) I know hormones play a huge role in all of this. Just wish I could start to feel better sooner than later!
