Hi all, my name is Roo and I have been suffering from painful urination and stinging at the end of the urethra since december. I don't have the normal IC symptom of many trips to the loo especially at night and I have had a cystoscopy and my bladder is fine, no inflammation at all. My doctors have diagnosed with with urethra syndome due to the pain being at the end of urination and at the tip of the urethra. I wondered whether anyone has been diagnosed with urethra syndrome and have had treatment with the brizmans?
Hello, welcome
Hello, welcome
This has been one of many symptoms that I've had - it now rareyl happens. I think there are many facets to this disease. For myself, tests showed nothing. I will always be grateful that I stumbled across this site.
Take Care,
Denise
Hello, before treatment with
Hello, before treatment with Dr. Brizman, one of my main symtpoms was pain in the urethra. I had the pain you describe. I felt like my urethra walls were rubbing against each other as if they had collapsed (maybe this was inflamation?) and I was constantly in pain. I felt like the flesh in that area was rotton. It was always painful but it would be excruciating for up to an hour after I urninated. I have been in treatment for 16 months and I'm happy to say that most of that pain has disappeared. First I had hours without pain, then days without pain and then weeks without pain. This was one of the first things to come for me so I believe it will be one of the last to leave. The treatment is a slow process, you will need to have patience and trust. For me it is definitely working. Good Luck with your decision.
Thank you for coming back to
