Hello Ladies,
Im still struggling with terrible burning back and leg pain with sitting which cannot be resolved by a physiotherapist. Boaz has suggested this might be related to my liver as I have other odd symptoms like all over body itching, waking up at 3 am (if i manage to sleep) and then remaining awake, twitching muscles and red eyes. I had a blood test my liver enzymes (ALT) are raised so I am paying to have an emergency ultrasound (The nhs over here just suggested retesting regularly but my symptoms are too awful to wait). Has anyone else has similar problems? I am terrified as my back pain is so dreadful that I dont sleep and cant lie down for more than 20 mins or so. I think ive driven myself crazy looking up primary billiary chirosis and other autoimmune liver conditions and I know leaky gut taxes the liver and makes us more likely to get other autoimmune stuff. Anyone faced any liver things?
I hope you are all going well in your healing

Katie, i have had some of those symptoms but not as severely as you. My back pain comes and goes. It stayed for quite a while at one time. With me we think maybe Lymph. Boaz has been able to relieve it with herb changes. I still have it some frim time to time but it is much improved. Also the itchy skin seems to be pretty common. I'm having it now with protocol change. Try not to worry - easy said I know. Keep trusting Boaz. Hugs to you.

Has anyone had abnormal liver
Has anyone had abnormal liver results whilst in treatment? our livers a taxed I know, but are they actually damaged?
Hi Katie,
Hi Katie,
I have been experiencing abnormal liver results since February (might have happened before but did not notice). The ALT was sky high - (in 2000s!). I was experiencing fatigue, itching all over my body (no rash) and jaundiced - even urine was a deep orange (the latter two symptoms can be determined from raised Bilirubin levels). I went via NHS for weekly blood tests to monitor the levels but there was no treatment as such, only lots of tests including ultrasound and MRI scan which just showed inflammation. They didn't really find the cause. It took 3 months for it normalise, however in July, they were raised again but this time not as high - stayed below 1000. For me, rising levels seem to coincide with when I get a cold/sore throat/viral infection. No idea if that has anything to do with it but it seems to follow a pattern - I'd feel very run down, get a sore throat and cough (which will last forever!) and upon testing the liver function it would be raised. I did a test last week and I'm not sure if it has normalised again since July but I think it probably has otherwise I would have heard from the GP or consultant by now plus I feel better. Thank God, there is no liver damage - it just gets hyper every now and then!
Hope that's provided some peace of mind...Tc
