I have started list one this week and was wondering what prepared food you have found for list one.  It states that prepared foods with canola oil is acceptable to eat.  I would love to find something prepared other than rice cakes LOL.

is because there's no great answer to this.  On List 1 myself for 3 mo's and counting, I've tried to investigate any way out of having to always cook from scratch and sadly haven't come up with anything except the Lundberg rice cakes and Hol-Grain crackers.  Anything preprepared, even if with canola oil, still has other things, none of which we can have.
So what I do to lighten the burden is to cook large quantities of veggies and chicken strips and a big salad in the fridge always so I don't have to cook every day.  And I try to focus on although it's boring & bland, it's temporary, and how great it will be to soon add in something now so "exotic" as avocado or cheese!

LOL YES I had to chuckle at this on there really aren't any I'm sorry to say but you get used to it and find ways to deal. Really it doesn't bother me much unless i am having a hard day energy or pain wise. Sometimes when i am super busy I am wishing i could grab something easy but eggs have become that thing for me there quick to make and you could even soft boil them and throw them on top of the rice cake. takes a few min litterly I can go to the bathroom after I put the egg in the water ,wash my hands get my cake put some butter on it throw it in the toaster oven and by the time the rice cake has toasted it's all ready I throw some salt on it and grab a few raw veggies to sncak on with it. I don't do that very often anymore because it's more satisfying for me to saute some basil and spinage in with my egg maybe some garlic salt. I am not looking for the quick fix so much as that tasty meal. Or some way to make the same thing taste better.

someone on this site turned me on to these chips and now i am totally addicted. all that is in them is olive oil, sea salt and potatoes. they are really, really good - better than any other chips i've ever had actually. you have to order them in bulk, but they are very worth it: http://www.goodhealthnaturalfoods.com/olivie-oil-kettle-style-potato-chi....
