I just read on the ICA site

  • Two Chinese herbal medicines help kill pain and increase bladder capacity.
  •   I couldn't find the names of the specific herbs on the site.  Please share your experiences of finding pain relief by taking Matia's formulas.  Thanks.

I also recieved the email from ICA which mentioned chinese herbs for pain, but they have not included the names. I think your best option is sticking with Matia's formulas instead of trying anything new. Like everyone here, before I flew all the way to LA from Australia, I tried everything that was hailed a help with pain from IC Aloe to Bladder Q, from Cystoprotek to Bladder Instillations and nothing worked.I have only been with Matia about 6 weeks and I still have good days and bad days, especially with sticking to the diet, but the positive for me is that I have gone from only being able to take a 1/4 capsule of the probiotic to taking one full capsule 3 times per day. That to me is a milestone since I have never been able to do that following any other type of treatment, and some days my bladder feels 90% unless I cheat.

Thanks for the reply.  Glad you are making progress.  I am planning to only take Matia's prescribed herbs.  I am hoping to hear from someone that felt significant pain relief from the herbs in the short term.  I know they help in the long term and was interested in the shot term pain relieveing benefits of herbs.  It is wonderful that your baldder feels 90% early in treatment :D
