Nicole, I saw these listed on the OK section in the new IC Diet. Have you seen it? The diet has some surprise. Peanuts, watermelon, and three types of apples are now reccommended for IC. The diet was made by several different IC groups. It isn't much use to us right now unless we feel like cheating LOL.
I got the email on that diet but I didn't even bother lookin as that diet is no where close to Matia's and penuts are not a healthy nut they are carcinogenic so even when i am well i don't plan on eating them. I did partake in that servey though. I think they need to refine it not add to it personally.
Hi Nicole: I have been enjoying oysters all summer. My body is very happy with them. I eat them grilled in the shell (w/melted butter and salt and especially like them shelled, dipped in egg and then fine rice cake crumbs and fried..Yummy!! I haven't tried clams.
Thanks Lolo,
I was reading how because they contain the whole body organs and all it's providing things that other foods don't. They appear to be very healing and i need all the help I can get. I think I will check around for them thanks. I don't tolerate rice so not sure how I am going to prepare them. I used to eat them on a cracker but those days are gone going to have to get creative. No grains for me
re oysters..another way I enjoyed them was to just dip in egg and salt and fry. they go well with eggs. I have chopped them and mixed with scrambled eggs..and a side salad .I really feel they give my body something I need...YUM!..of course, fresh is important!...
No i haven't I am looking for non red meet sources and also the reason the clams and oysters is because they contain organs that help heal the body so I was thinking of my food to be the medicine ya know. I feel like I have plenty of red meet sorces my digestive system has a real hard time with that.
