feelslike someoneis sitting on my throat

Ugh.  I am so sick of this die off business.  I swear it pops up in time to ruin all things fun.  Every once in a while and right now really intensely, I get this feeling like someone is sitting on my throat!  Its not hard to breathe per se, but it hurts a little and just feels swollen.  This time around I can actually swallow, but it still makes me really paranoid--like I'm always thinking, oh god, I'm not going to be able to breathe soon.  Is that even possible?  Does anyone else experience anything similar?

Yes, I have had this symptom from time to time.  I never considered it's connection to IC.  Once,  I felt like I couldn't breathe and went to the ER.  The test revealed that I was getting plenty of air, but it sure didn't feel like it.  At the time, I was on a lot of medications.  Thankfully, I have been doing much better lately.

I've had it happening a couple of years ago after a very bad sinusitis like die off, it was transient, but very scary!! But don't worry, unless you are having some kind of anaphylactic/allergic reaction, your throat will NOT close up. But that stuff feels totally different.

I'm on those SF's, and a couple of days ago I had problems swollowing, like there was a big lump in my throat.  It might have been from sinuses draining or something.  I've had it off and on.  I have not had any trouble breathing though.
