Here are a few interesting things I remember from the call.1. Healthy people poop 1 to 3 times a day.2. 75% of the Lymph system dumps on the left side and 25% dumps on the right side. Congestion is most common in the upper back, groin, and armpit.3. Teeth health is related to the intestinal health.4. Eat red meat once a day while in treatment.5. Eat at least 50% raw and 50% cooked vegetables. Matia eats most of her vegetables raw.6. Plastic surgery is very risky. The benefits should outweigh the risks. Matia has had patients with major setbacks after undergoing lazor treatments. Teeth whitening is OK after treatment is completed.
I really appreciate you taking notes and taking the time to write this out. Makes much sense that most of my weird twitching is on the left side of my body now.
I echo everyone else's thanks!!!
Wow, red meat once a day? Did she definitely say this for sure?
(I'm still in the mindset from my healthy eating days before treatment where I'd gotten so good at eating less meat for general health, it's hard to accept eating it so often even if it's good for me now.... esp. b/c I'm afraid I'll get used to it & have a tough time weaning off the meat once I'm well! LOL.)
Lisa,I missed the meeting too so I appreciate the summary! I know - it seems totally crazy to eat red meat once a day after my whole life I have had it hammered in that we should reduce red meat in our diets! BUT- In our specific case the red meat has specific tissue rebuilding properties and in this application also being that our bodies absorption is somewhat hindered we need much more protein than a healthy person would consume. So it ends up being a good idea to get this much protein to assist in the healing process. I'm sure once we get healthy again a reasonable meat intake can be resumed. I had no idea about the 50 % raw veggies. I'm doing this from now on to see if it helps my chronic constipation! thanks everyone!Mary
When I read this last night I had my husband run to the store to get me some red meat, cause I had not had any in 4 days. I have such a hard time eating it, cause I have been taught over and over its bad for me and will cause cancer. I also know its better to buy the grass fed, and of course that is more expensive, and out budget is running low. I feel weird about eating the cheap stuff fed corn and scraps..Did she say it HAD to be the grass fed organic stuff, or will the normal stuff do? I would LOVE Matia to post one weeks worth of her eating habits, so we can all see what she eats..haha
Here is some additional info that I can remember:* Lymph flows from the feet up and head down. There is also usually congestion in the groin, armpit and upper Left Scapular area. These seem to be the most common areas noted.* People with chronic illness can have elevated cholesterol levels due to the illness. Also, a high carb diet can produce high cholesterol levels. The body produces more cholesterol in order to digest all the carbs, hence, high carb diet, can lead to high cholesterol.* Stop fruit 3 hours before bed. If you drink juice, no more than 1 cup a day. You can also mix that cup with some milk and make it a smoothie.* The reason to not eat omega boosted eggs is because the hens producing the eggs are given flax to build up the omegas. The extra omegas should come from a fish source and they do not give a fish source to hens.* Should be using natural tampons or pads. You can buy them at the health food store.* Dandruff signifies yeast problems.* Never eat mushroms, not even after treatment. They are a fungus and she does not believe in putting fungus into the body.
I think Matia said that she eats red meat about two to three times a week. She beleives red meat is helps the body heal. After treatment, I think you could probably go back to eating red meat once or twice a week. Regarding the quality of meat, she said organic is best but not everyone can afford it. She has had people get better in treatment that have not eaten organic meats. Matia understands budgets are limited so do the best you can. When finaces are tight, I just buy regular hamburger meat. Read the labels carefully, because some companies add a solution of chemicals to flavor the meat. Hormone and anitbiotic free meat is an affordable alternative to organic meat.
Thanks everyone. This is all great stuff. I am such a nerd and love to hear all the juicy details! lol. No really, the more we all know, the better. This is funny- a few weeks ago at Christmas time, I treated myself to a t-bone steak and it was so yummy. I had not had one in years, and forgot how good they are. Then last week I got 2 super thin ones on clearance, and now this week I got another! I seem to be craving them. My husband thinks this is so funny- I have never eaten big slabs of red meat. I also got a big beef roast. Sat nite we went out and got steak for 2. I had it with a baked potatoe and bowl of lettuce with egg on top. He thought it was great and we took a big chunk home, it was so much. He loves hamburgers and makes them for me once or twice a week. Nothing beats a good, fresh, juicy burger. I just eat it plain with a little salt. It is good and fast after a long day of work. Hits the spot.
Couldn’t be written any better. Reading this post reminds me of my old room mate! He always kept talking about this. I will forward this article to him. Pretty sure he will have a good read. Thanks for sharing!

Can you tell me some more details.
What was her reason for stopping fruit 3 hours before bed? I have been eating my blueberries with plain yogurt about 1 hour before bed. Thanks, Tammy

Fruit
I think she said that the sugar in the fruit makes it harder to fall asleep.
