Honoring our bodies

So... another thing I would recommend besides reading The Healing Crisis is telling yourself this mantra: "I honor my body where it is today!"  I learned that phrase in yoga today... Just as we were all going into a pose, the teacher would say that and it was AMAZING... It helped me realize to not be ashamed of where I was in terms of a pose but that my body was a work in progress and I should honor where it is now!  We need to remember that our bodies know what they are doing and whatever is happening to them, we should honor it and where it is.

I'm also reading a book called Soul, Mind, Body Medicine.  It talks about the soul (even more than the mind) being the ultimate healer of your body down to each and every cell.  It has a "mantra" called Say Hello where you say hello to your soul of whatever organ and you ask it to heal itself....I've started doing it and will let you know how it goes.  Great read for all ICers!  Anyone read this book or tried this?

I remember reading a book about a Japanese Scientist who was doing experiements invovling water- The Hidden Messages of Water? was this book? He was taking photos of water at a specific point and noticed that when thewater was given positive thoughts and energy that the water molecules in a frozen ( snowflake) form that the crystals that make up the molecule appeared to be these gorgeous whole mandalic structures- but when they applied negative messages and energy towards the water and then cpatured its photgraph at the cellular level then it appeared crushed and mangled and not well formed at all! So if you think about it - we are like 90% percent water?Giving your body positive and loving messages ABSOLUTELY makes a difference. All of it is connected- mind body spirit. How could it be separate? In a way I beleive I am already healed I'm just waiting for my body to catch up my mind! ;) thanks for this!Mary
