Rash, and please explain

Ok, so I have a horrible rash all over my legs and arms. It just covers my whole upper arms all the way around, it itches SO much, and it hurts when anything touches it. I started getting it on my arms on Sunday, and now it is all over and getting worse. Now is this just die off, or could it be a bad reaction to something I am taking. I am thinking die off, but can people let me know if they ever had a rash like this. It is clear and very bumpy but when you itch it it gets very angry.
Another thing, my period started Wednesday!!!!! I was so happy because I haven't had one in forever. I had no warning, and am having no horrible back pain or cramps like I use to? Was very emotional couple days before. But, my question is, why does your IC get SO much worse before and during your period? Starting a little less than a week before it started, I felt like I was totally back sliding. I had been doing great with new foods, and feeling better, but all of a sudden I was burning all the time, and just everything was horrible. I was flaring no matter what I did. So can people explain this to me. I know hormones play a huge role, but don't know enough. I am trying to think positively and not be discouraged, telling myself I will start to do better again after my period?

Thanks so much
Kelsey

My IC gets terrible 3 days before I get my period and stays bad until a few days after.  It is because of the hormones.  I remember Matia saying it is partly because bacteria/yeast feed on hormones, so the more they are the stronger they are.  That is why ovulation is bad too.  Its hard for me to figure out sometimes if its a new food that is causing me issues, or hormones.  I have not had much more than small rashes all throughout my body.  I would email Matia for sure.  I am thinking it could be die off, because we all have crazy symptoms.  Does it itch

Yes it itches really bad, but only really when I stop moving. I know that sound weird, but every time I sit down or when I lay down to go to sleep, I just itch like crazy. It feels like pins and needles kind of itch. So I have this to look forward to (the getting bad around my period), that sucks : ( Thanks for explaining. So should I tell Matia about the rash? Is that something she should know, or should I just go with it, since it is most likely die off?Kelsey

Any hole you can detox from... you will.. The skin is the LARGEST excretory organ in the body... It's a good thing but if it is too intense for you, ask Matia and she can adjust...

Hi,

I was just wondering how long your rash lasted for?  I seem to have the exact same issue for the past two weeks.  It's driving me crazy and I'm starting to wonder if it will ever go away.
Thanks,

Natalie

It will go away- I can't predict when but it will- my legs broke out into rashes right along the bladder meridian - they itch so bad- but after a week the itch is starting to subside but the rash remains. I expect it to clear up within the month although it would not surprise me to see another one. it wlll probably happen again. i haven't had one this severe before. However as gross and icky as it is its actually a FANTASTIC thing to happen. Signs of toxins leaving system is always good and that is what it is. I haven't really found anything to put on the itch- I just kind of try not to scratch it which has been HARD! Maybe jojoba oil would help the itch?  In general my rashes come and go but they do heal up within a few weeks. Some folks have skin stuff that persists for months but they improve and go away too. Do not worry- Its a good thing albeit kind of annoying/gross sometimes. Thanks!

It was really bad for about a month... I mean as far as you could see the red rash  everywhere all over my legs and arms, but then the rash went away but itching stayed for about 5 months, so I just had cuts and bruises from itching so much. Still have scars all over my legs. About two months  ago it just all of a sudden went away. But recently in the last month it has slowly come back, but not near as itchy as I was before. Mostly now before bed, and when I lay down.
My advice to you? If it gets out of hand bad, and you feel like you can't take it, email Matia, and she can make changes until it gets better. I did not do this till later (sorta wish I had?), I think I just thought it was die off (which it is!) so I wanted to go through it to get crap out. But like I said, it is not worth getting scars on your legs, and you can take it slower. When Matia changed the stuff up that I was taking it got better right away, I would have to look in my journal to see now what that was. We are all different tho, so probably wouldn't help much anyway to compare what you are taking.

Hang in there k? It is good you are having die off, but email her if it gets to where you can't function.

Thanks everyone for replying so quickly!  I feel a lot better knowing that it is die off.  My bladder has been pretty good these days. I'm overdue for an appointment with Matia, I'll let her know what's going on with the rash. As long as I continue to progress, I'm happy!
