More food questions, do they ever end?

Ok so I have more questions about food. Everytime I think I have it all figured out there is always something.  I starting reading older posts and there are people saying that Turkey and Chicken causes flares.  Is there anyone else out there that has this problem. Everyday I just cannot tell what it is but something is getting me.  When I get rid of a bunch of things I still cannot pin point it.  Does anyone buy eggs from whole foods? I have always eaten the 365 brand cage free, but not organic.  Do they need to be organic?  Also I have a ton a ton of bloating and it seems to be way worse in the afternoons. Is this normal? Does anyone know how long it takes to get rid of the bloating. Sometimes I look like I am pregnant but I am not. haha.  OH and one more thing, I am a nurse and when I went to work they made me get a TB test done. I think that my flares could be from that. They are making me do a second one also, because they make everyone do two. I am so pissed! I don't want to do another when I am pretty sure it caused a major flare and I now I am so confused.  Has anyone else had a reaction to a vaccination their work claimed mandatory???

thanks everyone :)

Some people are sensitive to what they are feeding the chickens - like sometimes there is grain and soy in the feed and that can have a factor in your flares with those foods. I would just play around with that and see if yu can gauge the reaction- comapre how you feel after eating beef as opposed to chicken. There is often rosemary in ground turkey and that was causing me to flare really bad in my treatment. Be sure to read the fine print on the packages - in early treatment it can be difficult to really pin point exactly what it is that is bugging you- as you get better you will be able to pinpoint the flare causer right away- sometiems within minutes becasue you sumptomsn will stabilize and your tolerations will be smoother. I hate to report but your recent vaccination is PROBABLY VERY MUCH cause of your flares. Read up on vaccinations on this site-  Can you get an expemptionfor the second one?  - there may be forms you can fill out from the Center for Disease Control. This is such a bummer becasue I want to study sonography and the schools and hospital programs ALLL require heavy vaccinations which is REALLY bad for IC folks. It flares us and inflames our immnue system casue the things in the vaccine are bad. It might not be soo terrible later on but right now its pretty much something we are advised by MAtia to wait on if at all possible. I would email right away and see what your options are- I wonder if you can get Titer tests or take some kind of TB test that proves yoru immunity levels are good and you don't need a vaccine? the hospitals are trying to protect themselves agaisnt lawsuits but I don't beleive vaccines necessarily provide immunity. that's just my opinion. Keep us posted on what happens if you feel like it- cause I find this subject - vaccines really interesting and I want to know if I have a loop hole ot get out of vaccination for a career in themedical field. I do think your flares will calm down- its not the end of the world and any set back is temporary while your immnue system recovers but dont' get anymore without talking to Matia! Hope this was helpful.

Even though your employer may act like getting the second TB vaccination is mandatory, it is totally against the law for vaccinations to be mandatory, and arguably an infringement of your constitutional rights.  I don't know what state you live in, but if you look up your state's immunization law, there will be an exemption clause. This exemption will provide one or two ways to get out of vaccinations: medical or religious. If your state grants both, then the wording of the statute will depend on which one you should use. For example, if your state has a medical exemption, you can ask for a medical waiver to prevent possible damage to your weakened immune system or assert that you are afraid of an allergic reaction.

Dr. Mercola did a nice overview of this: http://www.mercola.com/article/vaccines/legally_avoid_shots.htm
Sorry if this is vague. The Mercola article flushes it all out. I hope this helps you.

Thanks for that Dr. Mercola link....I am also facing a job situation in a couple years where I might need that info!
Eggs: I shop at Whole Foods as well but not always.  I find I do best with Eggland's Best Organic or Organic Valley eggs -- but not the ones with added Omega-3's.  I also do really well with my local farm stand eggs in the summer which are NOT organic, but they do not flare me and they are really tasty.
I've never had much problem with chicken or turkey but I did have trouble with steak in the beginning.  I just wasn't digesting it well and felt really bloated and burpy afterwards.  I switched to almost exclusively ground beef and made sure to pair it with plenty of veggies to help digest.  It seemed to help.
Hope you figure things out....I know it's very confusing at first and, of course, we are all a little different.  When you find what works just stick to that a lot without trying to do too many new things at once.

I've been buying the whole foods organic chicken. I recently asked the guythe difference between their organic and veg-fed chickens and he couldn't really tell. It seems like both feed on grain, but maybe the veg-fed ones also eat corn and flaxseed? I buy grass fed meat at the market, but if i go out to dinner, i have no choice but eat corn-fed. I haven't found any restaurant that serves grass fed steak, but I seem to be ok with it since it's only occasional.
