vertigo and anxiety

It has been a while since I last wrote something.  As far as my bladder goes, things have been going very well.  Do not give up ladies.  I have been working on this for over 3 years and I have gotten alot better.  Unfortunatley, I am experiencing bouts of dizziness and anxiety.  I am wearing a holter monitor to check my heart to make sure everything there is ok.  I am not sure why I am feeling this way since I was doing so well in all aspects of my health.  What do you all do for vertigo or severe anxiety?  I know many of you feel anxious sometimes and do not use meds.  Are there some good exercises?  I am going to talk to Matia later this week.  I am not sure if she will recommend some herbs.  Any help with this is appreciated.  Thanks,  esalinas

Dr. deifinately has herbs to help with the anxiety - I know this for a fact - I'm doing so much better in that regard.  As for vertigo, I haven't had that in  years.  I'm sure it'll come back to haunt me any day.
If the anxiety is bad enough - please let her know ASAP!
Take Care,

I started meditation about a month ago (I used to do it myself since months but this time I took kind of a class) and it really helped me with anxiety, restlessness, and helps me calm down; also becuse I learned how to breathe correctly. Also yoga helps me now

I do agree that those help - I've done that off and on - along with some brainwave CD's.
The thing that Dr. B told me about anxiety, at least for me, that the liver needs cleansing - she gave me some great stuff that helped immediately - just don't feel like you have to suffer.

Thanks to all that have replied.  I have started breathing exercises but it is harder than I thought.  My mind wanders, but I am working on it.  I also have been told that I needed to cut my blood pressure meds in half and I found out that has also been adding to my dizziness and anxiety.  Matia said that since I am balancing my body, I no longer need as much medication for my pressure.  Little did I realize that my medication was a beta blocker.  I am having all kinds of awful side effects from the withdrawal.  We so often take what doctors give us without question and we do not realized what we are doing to our own bodies.  I am working on getting through this.  I have learned so much working with Matia, yet there is so much more I need to know.  Thanks again,  esalinas

This may sound crazy, but when I'm anxious it feels like the right side of my brain is overactive.  If I make myself look down, or look up, to the left side, it seems to force my brain to slow down.
It also seems to help if I can mentally separate myself from the anxiety.  I picture "me" on the left and the anxiety on the right.  Then I try to visualize a light between the two - it seems to calm me down.

This is interesting.  It recalls for me Dr. Mona Lisa Schulz, you might check out her books.  She's a doc + I think neuropsychiatrist or something like that, as well as a medical intuitive.  I was very impressed by her. She speaks a lot about right brain/left brain, and I think some of her books focus on resolving different medical issues without drugs, etc.
