Much as I've tried to ignore the fact, since starting list 1 the skin on my body has become very wrinkly - the sort of wrinkly I'd expect from someone who had gained then lost alot of weight. I've only lost about 1/2 a stone and was only 9 stone to begin with. I expect skin to age but at 36 would think there'd be more elasticity.
Even before starting the diet, I'd already noticed changes in my skin, hair and nails - the skin had become less bouncy and more hard and seemed pretty aged in comparison to people my age and older. I read somewhere about skin and the lymphatic system and am wondering if that is what's going on. I can accept if this is what I'm stuck with but also would be nice if it were to improve.
Can anyone shed any light on this or have an opinion? Thanks :)
I am pretty dry too
My skin is usually dry and i am lazy to keep a daily moisturizing regimen. Dryness is a big contributor to wrinkles, so try to moisturize more often if you can with the bomamed lotion. I thought it's a bit heavy, but i am so dry now, it's barely helping as heavy as it is. I also realize my hair is turning white at a speed i do not approve at all. It must be all the stress we are going thru? Not sure...
Hiya
Realised I hadn't replied sorry.. Yes I really must start moisturising regularly I can't always be bothered. I'm going to start dry body brushing too as a friend of mine highly recommends it for good skin and for ridding toxins as well as improving circulation.
Not sure about the hair greying - going grey early is something that's in our family. I still get away with just highlights at the moment to disguise the wiry little blighters.
