I am on day 2 of Dr. B's protocol, and I am trying to follow the diet list 1.

I need a good food processor that can make my life easier, and I also need a cast iron skillet.

Can I get please get some recommendations on which brand/model to buy? I want to make sure I get the right one.

Hi Calieve, I made the investment into a Vita Mix blender before I started the protocol and although it is expensive, I have found it well worth the price. I make all kinds of stuff in it... soup, blended veggies (I have a little one) and smoothies (avocado and blueberry are my favorite.. from list 3). As far as a cast iron skillet... I would like to get one too. I had no idea the stainless steel caphalon I have been cooking on for my family contains aluminum..... crazy! Good luck and as you have questions.. make sure to ask them:)

You really can't go wrong with cast iron. It's pretty much....cast iron!

Who here uses cast iron? I would love to try it but I would probably scew up the seasoning of it and everything would stick. I think the aluminum in the stainless is on the inside so I think that is a safe option. I just bought 2 PFOA free pans and they work great.

Really- you won't screw it up. I love cast iron. The only issue is they are so heavy and because of my weird muscle die off pain sometimes, I need my husband to lift them. Ahhh...IC... so fun

Deir can you really cook and egg in it and actually be able to flip it over? Do you wash yours or just rub them clean with a damp cloth, and how often do you season it? I may have to get one!

Ikea or any department store or amazon. I once got a catalogue that had all kinds of cool pans muffin tins etc but I can't remeber what store it was.

Christine- I happily  flip my eggs with butter in a cast iron skillet every morning. LOL

I try to scrub it without soap but sometimes I use a little. Just don't let it soak in soapy water. Then I dry it on a low burner so it doesn't rust.

I think I seasoned it by rubbing it with oil the first few times. Can't remember so really it isn't that big of a deal.
