Snack question

Can you eat vegetables without protein and carbs? I am into roasted  burnt cauliflower right now and I love it. i use olive oil. Can I just eat that?

I know Matia wants us to balance each meal if we can with a carb and a protein, unless she has told you personally otherwise.
I would think your snack above a very good one, but eating veggies by themselves does something different to your body then eating them with a carb and protein. I just wouldn't make a habit of it.

I'm having a go at no carbs for a while as I think they are bothering me and its so hard to snack when you can't have them.
 
I love cooked cabbage pureed with butter, salt & pepper.  I eat it as a snack from a flask at work. Its quite filling and keeps me going through the day, but it does mean eating a lot of cabbage at once.  I suppose I could carry some cooked beef with me to have alongside it.
 
Does anyone know any of any other carb free snacks?

Today, I bought a plain rotisserie chicken, so no ingredits but chicken. When I got home, I cooked all the chicken skin up in some butter (though you could do this in olive oil) and let it crisp.  Then I drained it on paper towels. Not quite as good as bacon, but pretty freaking tasty and list 1 appropriate.
