Missmadmolly is getting mad..
It's so frustrating to have so many questions about what an earth is going on in our bodies to cause such strange reactions and pain but no precise answers. For instance I get a severe pain near my left hip for a few days - most months which I believe to be something to do with ovulation and inflammation but what do I know - I'm no expert, I'm not able to open myself up and take a look at what the hell is going on. This is just a 1 thing in a long list of things that I have no answers for. How do we know if our aches and pains are a result of IC or something else - we don't. My frustration is that someone does..
There's no difinitive answers on this site. I feel like I'm chasing my tail. It's all guess work. I want someone to draw me a diagram and using a pointy stick explain what's happening inside so I can understand and know that I'm doing the right thing in order to treat it.
My own understanding of the main principle of the disorder could be utterly wrong but I think it's a case of inflammation - your whole body creating a wall as it's under attack and the things we consume and do aggravating the inflammation..
I don't consider myself to be a hypochondriac - apart from a sleep disorder there's not much else on my doctors notes. I don't complain much and I'd complain a whole lot less if I knew what was happening. I'm good at accepting how things are once I have the facts. So gimme some goddam facts! The end!
(Rant over)
gratitude
I've calmed a little and I've got my tail between my legs.. I must point out that I am grateful in finding this site and for the help I've received from my fellows. It's helped me hugely but there's still so much to understand..
Don't feel bad. We all have
Don't feel bad. We all have days where we feel like you do! It's a very frusterating illness not only physically but mentally. And sometimes I think the mental anquish we suffer is worse. Cheer up!
