Dental ?s - Implants, Dentures and Mercury

I finally went and saw a dentist! Big triumph after getting IC 3 years ago - where it all started with a dental nightmare. He is a biological dentist and totally gets it.

Anyway I need implants or a small denture - I am missing 3 teeth. Matia and I have discussed and she said I am not strong enough yet...she said both were tricky. The implant because it's such a "big deal" and the denture because of the toxic cement needed to hold it in place day in and day out.

I'd love to hear any stories of implants or denture experiences.

Also need mercury fillings removed. Anyone had this done and can share?

Thanks guys :)

Hey Claire, Comgratulations on your triumph of heading to the dentist after several years. As you have probably read, I have been dealing with some dental issues myself and recently read a good book called "Let the Tooth be Known" which is a solid survey source for dental issues. Isn't it wonderful to see a biological dentist? It was such a relief to speak to someone who gets it;) There are some great questions/concerns to discuss with whomever is removing your mercury. When Dr B says you can handle it, I would strongly re commend doing so. Heavy metals can cause major mitochondrial overload. Please keep us posted, Katie

I had my silver mercury amalgams removed several years ago.  I would highly recommend it.  It did make a difference.
