I'm considering buying one of these devices (although I'd really rather not) but don't have use of a grill so end up frying alot of my food which I imagine is not so good.  Can anyone recommend one of these?

Hi You,
I would just make sure it's one of the ones that you can take the grills completely out of - otherwise cleaning it is a pain!

I would also look into what type of "sealant" is used on the grill. Like pots and pans, anything that is put into the grill to make it can leach out while grilling. Non-stick is the most toxic, stainless steel is the best unless you buy a specifically, leach free ceramic but those can be pretty expensive.
