Hi everyone,
Ive been meaning to write my 9 month update but have been so all over the place & feeling pretty bad about it but i will soon:))) Anyway Dr. B added in 3 1000mg of D3 3x a day. My neurologist called & said my levels were dangerously low so we are giving it a try. It is definitely making my pain all crazy...on any given day my pain is an 8 then a 3-4 for some periods, very confused but also since the D started my vagina is inflamed, raw feeling & itchy. Has this happened to anyone else???? so uncomfortable!!!!
I also went off my antidepressant for pain 2 months ago & since then my urine stream is weaker & Im back to waking up 3-4 times a night to pee. This has been the most frustrating because I JUST WANT TO SLEEP AGAIN!
If anyone can give me any advise or info with any of this i would be very grateful:))))
Amy
Hi Amy! I too have low
Hi Amy! I too have low vitamin D levels, and have had a hard time adding it in. When we first tried I was having terrible hot flashes and just felt flushed all the time, and everything just frustrated me, couldn't concentrate at all. Now with the cod this has really caused my vagina to feel very raw, burning and itchy! I don't know what it is about Vit D and cod that makes it seem so hard to tolerate and reek such havoc on our bodies! I continue to try yogurt to cool things down! Hope you get some relief! Thinking of you!
Hi Amy,
Hi Amy,
Dr. Brizman had me on vitamin d for a very long time. Anytime I start a new supplement I seem to flare. I try to give it a week or two if I can to see if my body adjusts to it. If it is to much for you just let Dr. Brizman know and she will make adjustments.
I have been in treatment for 17 months and my experience has been that I have gotten much worse before I get relief or turn a corner. I look at as the body having this internal war with itself. All the bad is fighting like hell to survive - thus the discomfort.
At nine months I was much worse with hours of relief occasionally. I get longer periods now - am sleeping much better.
You will get better - what helps me is to engage this condition - accept it and know that someday it will be gone.
Hope you are feeling better
