OK, so I probably have posted this before.... I have a lot of problems on my left side with lymph... Only my left breast is always sore to the touch. I hate this and it worries me. Does anyone else have this? I am not going to the doctor btw, I think they are scam artists just LOOKING for disease and trying to make a buck or two off of us!
me too
Hey Jeanette, Yes, I have the same sore boob thing only on the left side. It comes and goes and is super annoying. I just had a thermography done a few weeks ago and the painful area showed up as cold, which is good in that it means I don't have a growth. The explanation I've been given by both Matia and the thermography doctor is lymphatic stagnation. I had my first thermography a year ago and now this second one which shows that my lymph system is better than a year ago. The soreness feels the same to me so it was good to hear that things are improving even if I can't feel the difference. Carol
I get that as well. But just
I get that as well. But just like you, I flee doctors like the plague.
Hi, I had this for YEARS and
Hi, I had this for YEARS and was convinced I was dying of breast cancer. I might add, I had this symptom for at least 2-3 years before the onset of IC....another sign my body was trying to whisper to me that things were out of balance. I'll never forget. I went to my OBGYN like 3 times to check my breasts. She said it could be fibrocystic disease or a cyst and sent me for an ultrasound. I went for the ultrasound which was my first medical test ever in my life for something I was sure was going to kill me soon. I was crying as I laid on the table and the technician moved the cold wand over my boob. The technician got up and said...'wait right here, I have to go find the doctor' (again this was my first time and I didn't know this was customary). As she left the room I just bawled my eyes out thinking the worst since she had to get the doctor to confirm it! They both came back about 5 minutes later. The doc did the test herself and looked at me like a crazy lady and asked why I was crying. I told her I was so scared it was cancer and I had waited so long out of fear and now I was going to die. She LAUGHED and said she didn't see a thing. She couldn't understand why I had pain. She literally said to me, I think it's your bra, it's too tight. As an aside, I will say that I was a D-cup at the time and she was an A-cup MAYBE during her period. Flat as a board. She told me to stop wearing underwire. I was like -- um, you're kidding right? I'm a D! Anyway, suffice to say I bought some new wireless bras and I started taking Evening Primrose Oil (not consistently) and cut way back on caffeine which seemed to help only slightly. I still had major pain around my period and couldn't even sleep on my tummy most nights. After I went off birth control, the pain disappeared right away. Bingo. 3 months later, IC hit me full on one night. The rest is history and here I am. Matia has also told me it's clogged lymph as it's come back now and then since starting treatment with her. Anyway, lesson learned and fibrocystic disease isn't really a disease at all..it's just the conventional medicine way of calling something they don't understand a name so they can give you a drug for it...or tell you to buy a new bra ;)
