Minus another 1,000 points for Western Doctors.

I got pretty extensive bloodwork done in February and have been waiting a month for my results. I finally called last week to see what was going on and my doctor's secretary called me back today nonchalantly apologizing for not having gotten back to me to let me know I tested positive for Lyme Disease and should think about getting treated for it.

I just called Dr. B's office, I assumed this is actually fairly common for IC patients, but unfortunately, since I haven't seen her yet and my first appointment is on the 26th she can't advise me for or against antibiotic therapy.

Has anyone here had the Lyme/IC mix? Did you treat it 100% naturally? Did you do the antibiotics? Would appreciate your insight!

Search Flygirl Sam  - I remember she has mentioned Lymes - I'm not sure if you can contact her directly.  I'm sorry about your experience with good old wester docs....

Hannah, search Lyme, you should be able to see others on this site who may be able to give some advice.

Hi Hannah, I treated with RC too and while did ot have a positive test for lymes, my CD57 test was super low and I have co-infections. I know a few people here who have lymes and IC and they are getting better. After taking herbs for lymes, I would say that it's not enough to heal the IC. I would go with Matia.
