Odd symtom???

Ok, here I am again :) Reaching out to all of you other once!

I'm just obsessed, I know, not a good thing... with others symtoms. As some of you might know, I'm going all the way from Sweden to see Dr.B, and I'm just so nervous. And I guess it is all about just feeling that I'm not alone and that I have made the right choice.

Here is the thing. I have this "stomach" pain. I will try to explain it. It is on my right side. By the height of the umbilical?? (is that the right word?) but on the right side. Sometimes it feels like it is cramping, like the muscles are getting tight, and pressing on it then causes enormous pain. It is like something is swelling inside and it almost also feels like a lump when it is really bad. Sometimes it feels like something is moving inside me in there.. like the intestine is moving... I can defenetely say it feels like the area is inflammed, and it is connected to what I'm aslo feeling in my vagina. BC when toutching the place, I also feel things happening in the vagina.

I also think the pain I'm feeling here moves all the way up to where the liver is, since it is also located on the right side, and then also down to my right groin, where I also have a lot of pain!

Anyone?! PLEASE!?

Going to see Dr.B in 2 weeks! Have started the diet, but does not feel any change!

Hi Kristina,
First, congrats on your decision to see Dr. B and it's great your appt is only 2 weeks away! I wish you all the best. Dr. B will answer all your questions, and will help you with all your symptoms along the way. I don't really have any similar issues to share with you, but i can assure you that i've read the weirdest most unusual symptoms here that i would normally think has nothing to do with IC. But in reality, it's our bodies that's inbalanced and communicating in such ways that something is quiet not right. I would keep a journal of all your symptoms to talk to Matia, and in the meantime, keep your head up. The diet along with her herbs will work to balance everything out for you. Good luck :)

Hi Kristina,

I had something very similar in the beginning, like a lump on the right side very close to the ovary area. I went to my GP and he asked for an external ultrasound and nothing showed up, I was really worried, Then they checked the ovaries internally and all was fine. So I couldn't understand what was going on. The dr didn't worry and said it must be gases...haha... idiot....The lump always got worse with constipation and with bad gut pain, but after 4 months into treatment it completely desapeared. Dr B told me that sometimes the gut gets very inflamed, my guess is the intestine has a part called cecum, really close to the appendix, so that was exactly where I had the lump....  you see all weird symptoms comes from the same problem, the gut, at least for me... oh yeah! and the hormones!..... ...

glad you are seeing Dr B!! Kristina YOU'LL BE FINE. I had to fly as well from Europe.... tough trip but really worth it

Oh man, I can't wait for things/symptoms to start disapperaring! I read on that here I envy it sooo much! If I could only get relief from one or two of my symptoms of about atleast 20 :( I would be so happy.
Right now the worst part is the burning and painful urethra. Feels like something is stuck inside it. And then the tingling feeling and swollen feeling through my body. In my spine and also up under my ribs! It is awful.
Started the diet 100% in last weekend.
Yes, I'm excited to go see Matia! And L.A for that matter. Been around US quite a lot, but never in L.A. We are staying 6 days.
I just hope that I can cope with food whilst there. We will stay in a hotell. The room does have refigerator and a microwave.... But then I hope I will find places or resturants where I can get what I need.
Any tips?
Sorry to say, but great to hear anyone else having had similar symptoms. And it is also great to hear that it will dissapear!
Yes, hormones.... My period is now officilly gone! It has always beaen on time before...but now....all gone! Should have it 2 weeks ago. And nope....not pregnant. No sex here ladies :)

Hi Kristina,
I've had a similar strange pain.  For me, if feels feels like a runners cramp on my right side just under my hip bone. It comes and goes for no apparent reason and sometimes is quite distracting. I've had other bizarre pains including the unsettling feeling of tiny knives in my stomach and the sensation of a point of cold in my gut, as if I've swallowed an ice cube.
I've mentioned all this to Dr. Brizman before and she didn't seem concerned.  As others have stated, these are all just side effects of being imbalanced. Everything should regulate once you get healthier and stronger.
Best of luck with your first appointment!
Lauren
