Has anyone tried using an oil diffuser with lavender essential oil? In the past, I've enjoyed scented candles, but I don't use them anymore because of the chemicals and I want to use a healthy alternative.

I've used lavender oil on my body to help me sleep since early in treatment. I only dap on a dot on my chest and shirt but I do feel it helps. I told Matia and she said as long as it is only a little bit it is ok.. I have also used oils in burners and I have been ok with them, I think it is individual how you will react, just try and see.

I have recently been using beeswax candles. I love the subtle honey scent and they are actually really cleaning and good for the air because of the negative ions they put off. They are unscented but I think you could make some with essential oils. I am to the point where lavender is fine on my body if used sparingly. The soy wax candles while "better" for you are still ulitmately toxic. I would think lavender oil in a difuser would be ok but also maybe not too much- in a room with open windows and good ventilation. Not a ton of exposure like for hours at a time.  I would be interested to hear about your expereince if you try it.:)

Okay. Thanks for the feedback! I just got some beeswax candles yesterday and they do smell really nice. :)
