Just wondering if people notice that foods higher in oxalates bother them and if so how have you altered your diet?  Has it helped to eat lower oxalate foods?

The only thing I know about oxalates, is that it somehow relates to the vulvodynia pain.  If you read up on vulvodynia you'll find that treatment suggests a low oxalate diet.  But if the vulvodynia is related to the IC, then just stick with Matia's diet and don't worry so much about it.  Before I met Matia I drove myself crazy trying to stay away from low oxalate foods, foods that I was supposedly "allergic" to and "acid" foods.  Matia told me to ignore all that, stick with the diet and just avoid any food that bothers my bladder.  This was good advice and took all the headache out of trying to eat.

I have noticed that foods high in oxalates bother my bladder immensely.  I try to stay away from them.
